VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

This fine cacao is the result of the dedication of 86 small-scale farmers from the Cholomá region in Cortés, who grow and harvest cacao in one of the most stunning landscapes of Honduras. Together the farmers form the APACH Cooperative. Their Trinitario beans come from regenerative agroforestry systems that combine organic practices with innovative harvesting and post-harvesting techniques.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cacao work its magic.
